Michael Francis Duch (PhD) is a professor of double bass, jazz and experimental music at NTNU Department of Music, where he currently holds the position as Deputy Head of Research. Duch is a member of the steering committee of VIS - Nordic Journal for Artistic Research, and alumni member of the The Young Academy of Norway. Hilde Synnøve Blix is a professor in aural skills and music education at UiT The Arctic University of Norway, Music Conservatory. Hanne Bæverfjord is an assistant professor in music at Queen Maud’s University College for Early Childhood Education. She is a choral conductor. She has composed and arranged choral music commissioned and performed both nationally and internationally. Andreas van Dijk is a freelance soundengineer, video editor/creator and musician. He has completed a bachelordegree in music education at Nord University, and is currently working as a technician and teacher at the Faculty of Education and Arts at Nord University.

Petter Frost Fadnes is Professor of improvised music at the Faculty of Performing Arts, University of Stavanger. He has published on a wide range of performance related topics, such as jazz collectives, jazz places, film scoring, jazz for young people, and improvisational practices. B. Solveig Fretheim is an Associate professor in music at Nord University, Faculty of Education and Arts. Her fields of teaching and research interests involve philosophy of music education, transdisciplinary work, collaborative and creative teaching methods, voice, gender and the arts. Sondre Gran is a master's student. Sondre has a bachelor's degree in music, and is now in the final year of the master's program "Master in music with ensemble conducting" at Nord University. The research Sondre uses in his master's project is artistic research.

Laila Grendahl is a university lecturer and PhD fellow researcher at the Faculty of Education and Arts at Nord University with leadership in ensemble and music pedagogics as main topics. Luca Nielsen Jenssen is a musician and a bachelor’s student in music pedagogy at Nord University. His research focuses on stretching the rules in music genres, as well as push the limits of gender norms in today’s music education.

Ronald Kibirige (PhD) is a music and dance educator, practitioner, instrumentalist, and instruments-craftsman from Uganda – East Africa. He is an Associate Professor of Arts Education at the Department of Teacher Education of the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU). He obtained his PhD in Humanities and the Arts at NTNU with focus on dance and music. He holds an International Master in Dance Knowledge, Heritage, and Practice (Choreomundus) from a consortium of four Universities (NTNU - Norway, University of Clermont Auvergne - France, University of Szeged-Hungary, and University of Roehampton – UK).

Ørjan Breivik Kines is a music teacher and PhD researcher in music education at the Faculty of Education and Arts at Nord University. Rose Martin (PhD) is Professor of Arts Education with a focus on Dance and Multiculturalism at Norwegian University of Science and Technology, Department of Teacher Education, and Professor II at Nord University, Faculty of Education and Arts. Lise Karin Meling er førsteamanuensis ved Institutt for musikk og dans ved Universitetet i Stavanger. Hun har graden Doctor of Music in Early Music fra Indiana University USA, med en avhandling om komponisten Maria Hester Parks klaververk og rolle som kvinnelig komponist i musikkhistorien. Meling underviser i musikkhistorie og kammermusikk på bachelornivå og tidligmusikkoppføring og -oppføringspraksis på masternivå. Hun har også en forskerstilling i 20 prosent ved Nettverk for kjønnsforskning ved UiS. Hun har skrevet om kvinnelige komponisters roller og sosiale status i den klassiske musikken, og arbeider for tiden med et prosjekt om performativitet og femininitetsuttrykk i countrymusikk. Hun er også aktiv som utøver på cembalo. Som cembalist har hun tatt fram i lyset ukjente verker av kvinnelige komponister.

Lilli Mittner is associate professor at the Centre for Women’s and Gender Research at UiT The Arctic University of Norway. She is specifically interested in feminist theories and how they connect to sound and music, cultural transfer, education, gender equality, sustainability, connectivity, co-creativity, dementia, environmental issues, and other planetary concerns. Tone Rove Nilsen is a PhD student in Science of Professions at Nord University. Currently she is working at the Norwegian Centre for Learning Environment and Behavioural Research in Education at University of Stavanger. Sveinung Næss is an associate professor of drama in the Faculty of Education and Arts at Nord University. His research primarily focuses on the use of improvisational theatre in communication.

Ninni Anita Rotmo Olsen er universitetslektor i Kunst og Håndverk. Hun arbeider med digital bildebehandling knyttet til fag, fototeknikk og redigeringsverktøy og praktisk bruk av programmer og applikasjoner i sammenheng med visuelt/auditivt uttrykk i for- og etterarbeid med studenter. Hun er billedkunstner med en rekke utstillinger, og er bl.a. innkjøpt av Henie Onstad Kunstsenter og Trondheim kommune.

Morten Sæther er førstelektor ved seksjon for musikk ved Dronning Mauds Minne Høgskole. I tillegg har han utdanning innen spesialpedagogikk og drama. Han har skrevet flere bøker om musikk og pedagogikk. Sæther har holdt en rekke kurs for ansatte i skole og barnehage og har hatt innlegg på konferanser i inn- og utland. Han har i mange år vært engasjert i barnehageutvikling og utdanningsprosjekter i det sørlige Afrika. I tillegg til lang undervisningserfaring ved DMMH, har han erfaring fra kulturskole og barneskole og fra frivillig musikkliv i Trondheim.

Roy A. Waade er førstelektor, med doktorgrad på emnet «Soundpainting som kompositorisk-improvisatorisk verktøy». Waade har tidligere vært musikklærer både i grunnskolen, kulturskolen, videregående skole og i folkehøgskolen. Han er dessuten aktiv som både musiker, arrangør, komponist og dirigent for bl.a. fusionband, kor og storband. Han har flere Rikskonsert-turneer og flere plateutgivelser bak seg og har også vært gjesteforeleser i samspill og improvisasjon i utlandet.
